The term Web 2.0 was coined after the advent of social networking, social media, and collaboration tools. So, its impossible to predict what Web 3.0 is...isn't it?

What do you think the next phase of the Web will be? My guess is that it has to do with making web apps a part of daily non-web life - Examples: mapping/navigation apps in cars, better useful mobile apps, apps for appliances, etc. Things you'll use to live your life without even knowing you're using the web.

What's your take of Web 3.0?

I agree that Web 3.0 will be tremendously useful, as opposed to the fads of Web 2.0. The tools will be there for us to discover people and information far and wide, but unlike today's Web 2.0 full of noise, Web 3.0 will filter out the quality beyond just delivering quantity.

I bet Web 3.0 at its prime will deliver a predictive customized user experience, where people really see what they need quickly. One of the ways I deal with my vision of Web 3.0 is HelpGlobe, where reusable questions and answers are easily rated, and thus easily found.
